Sample itinerary short stay
Though all our trips are bespoke, we have here put together a sample itinerary that in a short time gets the best of Faroe Islands in front of you.
Day 1: Hillside retreat in Nature
Straight from airport to a hamlet in Nature. Gjogv (pronounced: 'Djevg'), with its natural harbour was one of the first places to be inhabited by the vikings. Gjaargardur Guesthouse and a perfect starting point for a trip literally walk on the edge of the Faroe Islands, with birds doing aerial tricks all around.
Day 2: Into the wild & Torshavn’s food revolution
Walk over the mountains from village to village. Stunning views and amazing remote village people will greet you.
After a guided tour of capital Torshavn, we invite to taste the food revolution shaking Faroe Islands: The ingredients were always world class. Now chef’s are taking it to another level, with Faroe Islands boasting the world’s most remote 2-starre Michelin restaurant.
Day 3: Out to sea to catch lunch
No trip to Faroe Islands without going out to sea! You will enjuy amazing views of the islands, and the fishing is world class with catch guarantee. Traditional lunch on the boat, and in the evening a local chef will help prepare the catch in a local house.
Day after is return.
